Why We Built This Site
Public access in Georgia does not mean that every detail sits in one database. The Grady County Sheriff controls its reports, bookings, and jail data. Court clerks keep filed charges and dispositions. GCIC maintains the statewide repository, while corrections and registry agencies operate their own systems. Bringing verified contact details and request routes together makes that split easier to navigate.
What You Will Find Here
- Record guides: how criminal court case records are searched and read in Grady County
- Official check walkthroughs: how name-based and fingerprint background checks work through the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) repository
- Agency contacts: where to reach the sheriff's records unit, the criminal courts, and the statewide systems that hold Grady County records
- Record cleanup help: how Georgia record restriction works and which agency or prosecutor route applies
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Georgia court, sheriff's office, police department, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file record-restriction applications, records requests, or other paperwork on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing agency - the sheriff, the court, or the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) - can provide an official copy of a criminal record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
